So, I was reading one of my favorite makeup & beauty blogs, Temptalia, where I discovered this awesome deal from ZOYA, a sweet nail polish company with over 300 colors to choose from, ranging from cream/matte colors to glitters, metallics, jewel-toned colors for the holidays and more. I guess there is some kind of e-mail list where ZOYA sent out this deal; after searching for it it seems a lot of beauty blogs and websites posted about it. Go to ZOYA.com, add three colors of your choice to your shopping cart and remember to put in code ZOYA2013 on the same page as your shopping cart before you proceed to the checkout page.
I’m not one for these deals where you get things for “free” but still have to pay a lot of money, either for shipping or a product you have to buy to get the freebie. This deal is one I picked up instantly because it is so worth it. For a flat shipping & handling rate of $10, ZOYA will send you three full-sized nail polish bottles of your choice. Each bottle usually goes for $8 plus S&H, so this deal is totally worth it.
I first discovered ZOYA polishes a few months back when I got a mini-sized version (which is really not that small at all) in my Birchbox. Birchbox sent me the polish in “Kristen” (pictured above), an opaque gray-blue with a cream finish. I usually get gel polish done at the salon, and when I do my nails myself I usually use glittery or metallic polishes. I was really impressed by the finish on this color — I even got asked if it was a gel polish.
ZOYA’s polishes are long-wearing and for $8 a pop, they are around the same price range as Essie polishes and a little cheaper than Butter London polishes. While I’ve only used this one ZOYA color, I can honestly say I liked the finish and the staying power more than Essie or Butter London brands.
The three polishes I decided to get for ZOYA’s Color Your World in 2013 deal are:
- Meadow ($8; Zoya.com): A soft-medium pinkish peach with mauve undertones and a warm, frosty golden shimmer. It is considered a warm nude and has a metallic finish.
- Amanda ($8; Zoya.com): I admit, I chose this hue because it’s my name(!), but I honestly needed a nude brown-pink and this color looked perfect. ZOYA describes it as a medium muted peach creme with pink, mauve and brown undertones. It’s a very natural color with a cream finish.
- Aurora ($8; Zoya.com): Part of ZOYA’s Winter 2012/2013 jewel-toned collection, this color is a beautiful medium sugarplum purple specked with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter. It has a color intensity of 5 (the max intensity for ZOYA colors), even with a glitter finish.
Head to ZOYA.com to get three polishes for free before this deal ends on January 13. There are hundreds of colors to choose from, so there is absolutely something for everyone.
